Simply overpriced for the food standard and their service.
We ordered JabChae, Seafood pancake, Soontofu soup, LA Galbi, and Bulgogi.
JabChae taste good but a bit too sweet.
Seafood pancake, they use too much flour and not cook enough. Too thick and still sticky inside.
Soontofu taste normal.
Bulgogi is also normal.
LA Galbi is taste good but too expensive for it.
Service also not good. Need so long to get staff’s attention to order. Even when we ask them to top up their side, eventually they didn’t do it.
Plus they should instruct soontofu comes with rice.
Overall, to be honest, I really don’t understand why Google review is over 4.
All dishes are overpriced for the quality.
There is a lot of good Korean food with reasonable price.
With three branches scattered across the island, this restaurant is renowned for its stellar tofu soup. You can take your pick from various proteins like beef, pork, or seafood. While there are alternative dishes like bibimbap or bulgogi for non-tofu enthusiasts, honestly, why would you venture here if not for the soothing allure of tofu soup? It's a must-try, deeply satisfying, and my friends who joined me even confessed that they occasionally sneak in for a solo, heartwarming meal.
Famous chain from Korea. I reviewed the Millenia Walk outlet which is for dinner which i love. I came to this outlet for Lunch. Super crazy weekday lunch crowd. I was disappointed with my order of beef offal soup. The whole soup is so thick and chunky. I barely finished it. The price point is too high for a weekday lunch. I rather do dinner. The restaurant has no lack of fans. Always long queue even for weekday lunch.
I have been too all 3 outlets and I personally find that this outlet staff are more friendly. First tip, try to make advance booking. I did via Chope. Very long queue during dinner time. Chope has got good deals too. Their portion is very big. I suggest if you have 2 pax, just order 1 combo and 1 side. The corn tea is very refreshing. After a hearty meal, they give free yakult. Yummy
Very expensive tofu.
But I’ll have to say that the Dumpling
Soontofu by SBCD Korean Tofu House is really good! Although the serving is very small for my tummy 😅, the soup is packed with flavour, mildly spicy and most importantly, served piping hot. The soup goes very well with the short grain rice. I also like the Kimchi pancake which is pan fried to slightly charred.
Overall, dinner at SBCD is a pleasant experience.

Do book else place will get crowded quickly during lunch time .
There are quite a few variety of toufu stew with option of seafood , beef or pork.
Restaurant also serve small dishes which i
Found the fish to be quite fresh and Sweet.
I got the crab and seafood , Broth is very flavourful and goes well with rice.
Beef short ribs were the highlight of the meal. A bit chewy but not heavily marinated so you can taste the beef itself. Surprisingly, the fried fish appetiser was quite enjoyable. It smelled slightly fishy but tasted nice with its light seasoning. Seafood tofu soup was a bit salty but went well with rice. Pancake was oily and bland.
Hearty and yummy soon dubu! Like many Korean places, this eatery serves complimentary side dishes which includes a small piece of fish (grilled/fried I’m not sure). It’s really well seasoned. The broth is flavorful too and goes well with the rice. You can also select the spicy level. They have combo sets so you can enjoy cooked meat with your stew. Only bad thing is that the price is pretty steep. 2 pax here cost over $60 in our final bill - ordered 1 stew, 1 combo.
